While I usually play with startups, I do also consult with small business. In that capacity, I am working with Brisbane-based Czech-Australian designer Sharka Bosakova to launch her first-ever Kickstarter for her 100% plant-based sustainable jewellery.

The 3D / OVA jewellery collection is:

  • Vegan
  • Lightweight
  • Modular
  • Made on demand
  • Made locally in Australia
  • Made from plant-based filaments

The 3D / OVA jewellery is a great product that wants to empower people to carry less while creating more as the pieces can be worn as earrings, necklaces or as a brooch.

Ways to wear, as demonstrated by Sharka Bosakova

“I was inspired by the rustic textures of the Australian coastal landscape, the lightweight interactive pieces are designed and hand-finished with cutting edge technology and classic European artistry. Using the magnetic system, you can swap, add and replace components, our next generation accessories allow you to have less but create more.” — Sharka Bosakova

For the Kickstarter, Sharka’s made available three shapes: the Ellipse, the thorn, and the polyhorn. I was one of the first people to get my hands on the Ellipse, which is currently a Kickstarter exclusive. It’s a fun shape, and I love wearing my purple Ellipse. However, purple is not one of the colours available on Kickstarter. Instead, Sharka is offering the pieces in black, blue and copper colours.

If you like the idea of sustainable jewellery that lets you carry less but create more, pre-order your 3D / OVA jewellery before it is too late!
